Booking and coverage
Which parts of Cyprus do you cover?
All of it. We work regularly in Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, Ayia Napa and Protaras, and Nicosia, and we travel to villages and mountain venues anywhere on the island. There is no part of Cyprus that is out of reach for a wedding day.
How far in advance should we book?
The earlier the better, particularly for Saturdays between May and October, which is when most of the island’s weddings happen. If your date is close, ask anyway — dates do come free.
Do you offer both photography and film?
Yes. We offer photography and film, and we would rather cover both than have you coordinate two teams who have never worked together. When one studio handles both, the two are planned around a single timeline instead of competing for the same spot in the church.
Do you work with a second photographer?
On many weddings, yes. Whether a second shooter is right for your day depends on how it is structured — two homes to cover at the same time, a large church, a first look running alongside preparations. Tell us your timeline and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it.

The wedding day
Have you photographed a traditional Cypriot wedding before?
Yes, and the shape of the day matters more than most couples expect. The zomata happen at each of your homes with the families around you. Then the church. Then the xeretisi, the receiving line, which can absorb a large part of the evening. A photographer who has not worked one before tends to discover that during the evening rather than plan for it.
When do we do the couple session?
It depends on the kind of wedding. For a traditional Cypriot wedding it is usually a different day altogether, which gives you far more time and much better light. For a civil wedding it is usually the same day, and we try to protect a window for it — often your planner arranges this. Either way, it is always worth the planner checking with the photographer first, because the timing has to work with the light and with the rest of the day.
Do you pose us?
Not much. I work as a documentary photographer and photograph what is actually happening. I step in where it genuinely helps — light needs managing, and family group shots go faster when somebody takes charge — but I would rather be the person you forget is there than the one arranging you.
What happens if it rains?
Cyprus rain is rare in the wedding season and rarely lasts. We plan a covered alternative with you in advance so nobody is improvising on the morning. Grey light is also kinder than midday sun, so the photographs from a wet day are often better than couples expect.
What about the heat?
Between June and September the middle of the day is fierce. The practical answer is timing: we push the outdoor portraits towards the last hour of daylight, when the light is warm and low and nobody is uncomfortable. If your ceremony is at midday we will find shade and work with it.
After the wedding
When do we get our photographs?
Full galleries take three to four months. Every photograph is edited individually rather than run through a batch preset, and that is where the time goes. We send a small preview set long before the full gallery is ready.
What exactly do we receive?
A private online gallery at full resolution with no watermarks, everything delivered on USB, and printed wedding albums. The gallery is yours to share with family and to download from directly.
Are the images watermarked or low resolution?
No. You receive full-resolution files with nothing written across them. They are yours to print at any size.
Can we have the unedited files?
We deliver edited photographs. The editing is part of the work rather than a step afterwards, and raw files are not a meaningful version of the wedding — they are the raw material we make it from.
Can you print an album for us?
Yes. Printed albums are part of what we deliver, and we design the layout with you rather than handing over a template.
Will our photographs be published?
Only with your agreement. If you would rather your wedding stayed private, say so when you book and it will not appear anywhere.
